Dr. Laura Quintero Silva presents at the APHA conference in Washington!

PUSHING THE IMPORTANCE OF PUBLIC HEALTH

This November, Dr. Laura Quintero Silva presented at the American Public Health Association conference in Washington, DC.

Dr. Quintero presented an oral presentation in the Aging & Public Health section, titled "Community-based peer and social support interventions for bereaved older adults:  A sub-analysis of an umbrella review."

The abstract was also selected as the honourable mention of this year’s James G. Zimmer New Research Investigator Award, presented by the Aging and Public Health Section. The awards ceremony was held during the 2025 APHA conference on November 3rd, 2025. Congratulations Laura!
