Social Connections Lab is awarded an Insight Development Grant

Today, the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of National Revenue, on behalf of the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, announced that $123.1 million in federal research funding has been awarded through 503 Insight Grants and 590 Insight Development Grants to researchers working in social sciences and humanities disciplines at institutions across Canada. These grants enable scholars to further our collective understanding of individuals and societies, as well as to inform the search for solutions to societal challenges.

This year, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) awarded Dr. Karen Bouchard and colleagues an Insight Development Grant to conduct the CARE-WELL project. Thank you to all Co-Investigators (Dr. Heather Tulloch, Dr. Krystina Lewis, Dr. Caroline McGuinty) and caregiver partner, Gloria Higdon.

The recipients of these grants play a crucial role in advancing knowledge, driving social change, and promoting a deeper understanding of the world around us.
