The Social Connections Lab was awarded an Exploration Grant from the Brain-Heart Interconnectome

The Brain-Heart Interconnectome announced its recipients for the 2024 funding opportunities.

A total of 12 teams were successful in receiving the Research and Knowledge Mobilization Exploration Grants. These grants aim to advance new areas of mission-driven, high-impact integrated brain-heart research. These grants are dedicated to supporting researchers, in collaboration with patients and other knowledge users, to test a new hypothesis, explore higher risk research questions or advance innovation in brain-heart research.

The Social Connections Lab was awarded a two-year grant to explore loneliness in patients with early onset heart failure (CONNECT-HF Project). Thank you to Dr. Kerri-Anne Mullen and Jenny Milne (Co-PIs) and all Co-Investigators for your support! Looking forward to getting started!
